Dr. T R Ravi

Dr. T R Ravi is a top-notch Ophthalmologist from Bengaluru with a clinical practice spanning across two decades. He plays the role of a panel consultant to esteemed organisations such as ISRO (Department of Space), BEML, BHEL, Indian Airlines and Airport Authority of India.

Dr. Ravi’s MBBS and Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine & Surgery (DOMS) from JJMMC (Davangare) was augmented with the achievement of the M S degree in Ophthalmology from KMC (Manipal). Besides this, Dr. Ravi completed training in Phacoemulsification Cataract Procedures from Narayana Nethralaya and a Fellowship programme in General Ophthalmology at Lion’s Eye Hospital, Bengaluru. In 1997, Dr. Ravi paid a call on Loma Linda University, California, USA as a visiting consultant.

As of today, Dr. Ravi has performed over 8000 cataract surgeries involving ICCE, ECCE, SICS, Phacoemulsification, glaucoma and combined surgeries. His areas of clinical expertise include Phaco Surgeries with IOL implantation, Glaucoma evaluation and management and Retinal manifestations of Diabetes, Hypertension and other disorders.

Dr. Ravi currently practises at Kapila Eye Clinic (Indiranagar, Bengaluru) known to have ultra-modern tools requisite for ocular diagnosis and treatment. He is not only attached to Nova Specialty Hospitals (Bengaluru) but is an honorary consultant at Chinmaya Mission Hospital (Bengaluru) too.
